Career Transitions
Consider changes in scope, setting, schedule, leadership, or relationship to clinical practice with more clarity and less isolation.
Coaching from a physician who understands the realities of medicine
George Nowacek, MD, helps physicians and healthcare leaders navigate career transitions, leadership challenges, professional uncertainty, and the work of building a more sustainable life in medicine.

The moment
Coaching begins by making room for the questions that are easy to postpone when the work is urgent, visible, and hard to step away from.
Coaching focus
The work is tailored to the physician in front of it: their responsibilities, constraints, values, and decision points.
Consider changes in scope, setting, schedule, leadership, or relationship to clinical practice with more clarity and less isolation.
Make room for the questions that surface when a familiar role, title, or inherited definition of success no longer fits.
Strengthen decision-making, communication, and presence in complex clinical and organizational environments.
Clarify what restores energy, protects relationships, and makes a life in medicine more durable.
Why Hana Path
Physicians are accustomed to carrying responsibility for patients, colleagues, trainees, organizations, and families. Hana Path Coaching creates a confidential space to step back from those demands, consider what matters now, and choose the next step with greater clarity.
When physicians are supported, they are better able to lead, connect, and make decisions with intention.
Hana Path Coaching supports physicians and healthcare leaders as they navigate change, responsibility, and professional uncertainty. Through thoughtful questions, honest reflection, and practical action, George helps clients define success for themselves and build careers and lives they can sustain.
We begin with questions rather than assumptions, creating room to see a challenge from more than one angle.
Professional difficulty is not a personal defect. Coaching approaches each person's experience with empathy, dignity, and respect.
We slow down complex decisions, identify what matters, and distinguish external expectations from personal priorities.
Reflection becomes useful when it leads to thoughtful movement. Coaching helps translate insight into realistic next steps.
Approach
The coach does not simply prescribe answers. The process helps clients examine assumptions, clarify priorities, recognize options, and commit to meaningful action.
